Funders

The Gotham Center for New York City’s Education Programs and the GothamED website are funded in part by the Booth Ferris Foundation and the New York City Department of Education.

The New York City and the Nation section is funded in part by two citywide Teaching American History grants from the U.S. Department of Education awarded to the New York City Department of Education in 2003 and 2004. These two grants, American Journey and Framing History, are citywide partnerships with the New York City Department of Education, the Gotham Center for New York City History/Graduate Center/CUNY, City Lore, Historic House Trust of New York City, Henry Street Settlement, New-York Historical Society, and Brooklyn Historical Society.

The Gotham Center for New York City History is funded in part by the Graduate Center of the City University of New York and other private foundations. For more information about the Gotham Center, please see our website at www.gothamcenter.org.
